YouTube has been supporting Virtual Reality (VR) and 360-degree video content since last year, opening up a whole new dimension of immersive viewing. This compilation brings together some of the most impressive and engaging examples of VR and 360° videos available on the platform—perfect for those who want to experience the next level of digital content using Cardboard glasses or similar VR headsets.

To enjoy this content, simply download the YouTube app on your Android smartphone. Once installed, look for videos marked with the Cardboard icon—this indicates they’re optimized for VR viewing. Tap to start the video, then place your phone into your VR headset to begin your immersive experience. From breathtaking landscapes and concerts to educational experiences and virtual tours, the possibilities are vast and incredibly exciting.

While YouTube also supports 360-degree video playback on iOS devices, full VR mode (with the stereoscopic split-screen for headsets) is not yet available on iPhones. iOS users can still explore the 360° experience by moving their phone around or swiping the screen to change the perspective within the video.

Whether you’re new to virtual reality or already a fan, YouTube’s growing library of VR and 360° content offers an accessible and impressive way to experience the world like never before.
